Bath County, located west of the Shenandoah Valley in the mountains of Virginia, has been welcoming visitors for more than 250 years. Good food has always been a part of the local hospitality. In recent years, a growing culinary scene combined with craft beverages and a renaissance in local farming, has made Bath County a hot destination for food lovers. Local restaurants and creative chefs are starting to get the recognition they deserve as some of the finest in Virginia.

The First Annual Bath County Restaurant Week gives visitors a chance to sample the variety of restaurants in the county — from country style to pub fare to fine dining. Spend a few days and see what all the buzz is about.
